Please note that our Missing Will Service is free of charge if we are also asked by your firm to find missing / unknown heirs or missing beneficiaries on a Contingency fee basis

Notes

  • Timescale - after placement of advertisement and other research has commenced we must allow 28 days for a response. All other searches will also be completed within 28 days of order.
  • Advertisement Fees - we always place an advertisement in the Law Society Gazette (Wills & Whereabouts section) at a current minimum charge of £199.50 + VAT (correct as at January 2010). Usually this is the only advertisement needed. Other advertisements may be placed according to the circumstances of the case, but we will confirm any further advertising requirements with you before proceeding.
  • No advance payment - Invoice sent with our report (payable within 28 days).
  • Having completed the Missing Will Service, Finders can then obtain an Aviva ‘Missing Will’ indemnity insurance quotation for your consideration. This provides cover against the possible later discovery of a Will which changes the estate distribution, without the need for repayment of inheritance(s) or bequests that have already taken place.
